As an artist, I take great pride in crafting unique mixed media mosaic art that blends whimsy with abstract elements. My Caribbean heritage inspires me to infuse my work with vibrant colors and dynamic patterns.

Minerva Ramirez
Minerva Ramirez, affectionately known as Minnie, is a self-taught mosaic artist based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Originally from the Washington Metropolitan area, Minnie now shares her life with her husband, two sons, and her beloved dog, Kiki.
Minnie's journey into mosaic art began in the midst of the 2020 pandemic- a period that, despite its challenges, offered a unique chance for creative exploration. Her passion for mosaics was first sparked by a visit to Antoni Gaudi's Park Guell in Barcelona, Spain. This awe-inspiring experience drove her to immerse herself in the art form, absorbing knowledge from a multitude of English and Spanish Youtube tutorials and participating in workshops led by distinguished artists.
Beyond her artistic pursuits, Minnie enjoys cooking, dancing, and traveling. These passions infuse her life with joy and inspiration, adding a dynamic flair to her creative process. Minnie's art has also found a place in significant projects, including the Wings of Hope Mosaic Mural at the Fitton Center for Creative Arts in Hamilton, Ohio, a collaborative endeavor with artist Lori Kay Farr and Every Drop Counts Mural led by Kate Pepin Arts in Flint, Michigan.
Minnie is profoundly grateful for the opportunity to share her art with a diverse audience and to transform her passion into a rewarding career.
